University
Approximately 60,000-70,000 leave secondary schools in Uganda each year qualified for university. However, due to a limited number of institutions, a limited number of spots in those institutions, and expensive school fees, only about 35% of them are able to continue on to University. There are both public and private universities in the nation, and the majority of students (about 95%) attend the public university in the capital, Kampala.
